Since May, Amazon has been having its stores and products blocked by the authorities. For a while, Amazon sellers were panicking, fearing that their stores would be affected. Just yesterday, the Ministry of Commerce of China officially spoke out about the Amazon sellers being blocked!

Since May, products of leading cross-border sellers such as Patuo*, *Ji, *Bao, etc. have been removed from Amazon one after another. The reason is that Amazon is investigating illegal manipulation of reviews, and even brands have been implicated, resulting in the death of a large number of accounts.

In response to this situation, the Ministry of Commerce stated: We hope that the Amazon platform will cherish the important contributions made by the majority of enterprises, fully respect all types of trading entities, and believe that the platform and enterprises can find a solution that is both compliant and reasonable.

The Ministry of Commerce's statement seems relatively peaceful, but in fact it is also putting pressure on Amazon, the platform, to handle it fairly and reasonably, and firmly support companies to take reasonable measures to protect their legitimate rights and interests. The meaning behind this must be "If I catch you treating Chinese sellers differently, you will suffer the consequences."

Of course, it also sounded a wake-up call to Chinese sellers, requiring us to fully comply with local laws and regulations and standardize our operating methods and models. Obviously, some investigation and understanding of the reasons for the recent Amazon store inspections have been carried out. Only when we fully comply with the regulations, in case the platform treats us differently or discriminates, the country will help us back up.

It seems that the store closure incident was so serious that even the Ministry of Commerce was alarmed and intervened. The credit behind this must be attributed to the top sellers. When such a large enterprise encounters problems one after another, they will definitely not sit idly by after reporting to the higher authorities.

According to news circulated online, big sellers whose stores were previously closed have begun to resume operations one after another.

Several leading brands that were severely affected by the store closures, including Patuo*, *Ji, *Bao, etc., have already resumed sales of their brands and products.

Among them, the main brand of Patuo* has recovered relatively comprehensively, and brands such as *Ji and *Bao are still recovering one after another, and only some products and brands can be sold. And there is a very obvious change, the reviews of these recovered products have visibly decreased. The top-selling products in the category that originally had hundreds of reviews now only have dozens of reviews...

Although I know that Amazon is just checking reviews, I still feel a little sad when I see so many best-selling products have their reviews removed and then come back. Amazon’s checking is really harsh this time.

Fortunately, we have a strong motherland to support us. After the Ministry of Commerce puts pressure on Amazon this time, Amazon may restrain itself in the short term and be more cautious about closing down sellers.

However, the prospect of the confrontation between China and the United States is unclear. It is hard to say how the US government, which is behind Amazon, will react to this. Will it stop here or continue to use Chinese sellers and trade in the United States as a handle to threaten more interests?

However, according to the current domestic situation in the United States, continuing to target Chinese manufacturing will undoubtedly add fuel to the soaring inflation in the United States. Now cheap Chinese products are suppressing inflation. The United States is in such a state. If Chinese manufacturing is driven away, won’t American society be turned upside down?
