Development History

- The company opened its first franchise market in 1992 and over the years opened hundreds of new markets in Germany.

- In 1997, the first market for Fressnapf was launched in Austria, followed by further market establishments in Switzerland and Luxembourg in 1998 and 1999.

- In 2009, the 1,000th store in Europe was opened (in Munich) and the online store www.fressnapf.de was launched.

-In October 2012, Fressnapf Group entered the Polish market.

-Since September 2015, Fressnapf has become an official partner of PAYBACK, Germany's largest customer loyalty system.

-In early 2013, the world of the Fressnapf brand continued to develop with the premium cat food "Moments", followed by FOODPRINT and Buddys and Kitty's Cuisine in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

- In 2016, a total of 1,378 Fressnapf and Maxi-Zoo stores were opened, 879 of which were in Germany.

- From June 2017, the full-scale warehouse will be supplemented by a fully developed and automated small parts warehouse at the company headquarters in Krefeld.
