Must-read! If you don’t understand these 6 points before the Members’ Day, beware of a sharp drop in order volume!

After waiting for so long, Amazon Prime Day is finally going to start tomorrow! Shortly before the event, Amazon released a series of new policies. Sellers, please come and learn about them to avoid affecting the number of orders per member day.

Amazon New Title A/B Test

The title is very important for a product. A good title increases consumers’ click-through rate. Therefore, sellers often worry about the title when optimizing listings.

Recently, Amazon launched a new feature called A/B title testing, which is a rare feature that my brother-in-law has come up with for sellers.

This function is the same as testing A+ pages. Sellers can conduct segmented testing on product titles.

During the testing process, the platform will record several important indicators of each title, such as conversion, sales and impressions. The longer the test time, the more information the seller can collect to adjust the title, which means that the traffic and conversion rate of the listing are expected to be greatly improved.

As soon as this feature was released, it attracted the attention of many sellers. In the past, sellers needed to use third-party applications to perform A/B title testing, which was not only expensive, but also less accurate than the Amazon official platform. Now that the official platform has this feature, it is still very beneficial for sellers.

In addition, it should be noted that this feature can only be used by registered brands. Also, it is not possible to test all ASINs in the catalog.

Amazon launches 'Climate Pledge Friendly' label

Recently, Amazon showcased products with the "Climate Pledge Friendly" label, which meet sustainability standards that help protect the natural world. Amazon hopes to encourage its seller community to create sustainable products.

Amazon plans to release more than 25,000 products with one or more sustainability certifications in the future, in categories including electronics, cosmetics, groceries, apparel, and more.

As part of Amazon’s Climate Pledge Friendly program, the retail giant has also launched an external certification, Compact by Design, which identifies products without excess air and water, as well as products that require less packaging and are more efficient to ship.

Tomorrow is Member Day. Sellers need to pay attention to more than just the new policies. If they want to stand out in the fierce competition, there are many key points to pay attention to. The following is an inventory for everyone:

1. Inventory Management

There are many discounts during the promotion period and seller demand increases dramatically. Sellers need to pay close attention to inventory and logistics, analyze the sales history and marketing plans for the fourth quarter of previous years, and plan inventory reasonably.

2. Set up coupons

There are already many discounts on the platform during big sales. If the seller’s store also sets up coupons, it will be more attractive to consumers, and increasing the number of orders will not be a problem.

3. Add the Prime Day logo

Generally speaking, during Member Day, products named "Prime Day+product name+keyword suffix" can attract traffic and make it easier for sellers to monitor order conversion rates. It is a necessary little trick.

4. Strengthen pre-sales and after-sales services

Using real-time chat tools during the promotion can help sellers efficiently deal with order inquiries and product inquiries during Prime Day. Providing good after-sales service can improve user favorability and trust, which can further enhance the competitiveness of the store during the event.

Tomorrow is Member Day, and sellers should be gearing up for it. I wish all sellers great sales~
