According to foreign media reports

Half a dozen fire departments were unable to stop flames from destroying the sprawling structure in Redlands, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles. The nearby Interstate 10 freeway was temporarily closed as flames shot high into the air.

The affected warehouse is owned by Kuehne & Nagel, Amazon's third-party logistics service provider. Its spokesman Nadelhofer said in an email: Business and customer orders will be completed at other locations.

"We are not aware of any injuries and understand that everyone evacuated safely," Nadelhofer said. "We are mobilizing support resources for the employees affected. To our knowledge, the cause of the fire is still unknown."

Amazon said the warehouse is used to ship large products such as mattresses and that the fire was not expected to affect customer deliveries.

"We're glad everyone is safe and thankful for the efforts of local firefighters and first responders," said Amazon spokeswoman Lisa Levandowski.

Redlands City Manager Charles M. Duggan Jr. told Fox 11 News the fire was not related to the demonstrations.

"This had absolutely nothing to do with the demonstrations. Something happened inside the building that started the fire," he said.

Fire Chief Jim Topolsky told FOX 11 that in addition to determining the cause, the investigation will also look at how such a large fire could have occurred in a modern building with an up-to-date fire protection system.

"Something immediately overwhelmed the sprinkler system and allowed the fire to spread very quickly," he said.

There are many huge e-commerce warehouses and distribution facilities in the region.

To put it simply, the location of the fire was: The fire erupted around 5:25 am at 2255 at East Lugonia Ave. The location of the fire is a ten-minute drive from ONT9, but the goods in the ONT9 warehouse were intact.

It is reported that the warehouse that caught fire belonged to Amazon's third-party logistics service provider, but it was mistakenly reported as an Amazon warehouse because there were several Amazon vehicles.

In fact, this warehouse is a third-party distribution center that mainly distributes large items such as TVs, mattresses, etc. UPS and other logistics carriers are using this warehouse to distribute Amazon's large goods.

So in reality, even though the warehouse was large and the fire was severe, it only contained mattresses and large goods from some Amazon sellers!
