In addition to the Japanese site, this site also opens applications for Prime Day flash sales!

Prime Day is the golden promotion day on the Amazon platform. For Amazon sellers, Prime Day can bring more traffic, sales and orders than usual.

Especially in these days when orders are bleak, Prime Day may bring hope to sellers' store performance in the next few months. Therefore, more and more sellers are beginning to pay attention to the relevant information of Amazon Prime Day.

“Is Prime Day registration over?”

“Which sites are offering Prime Day flash sales?

“When will Prime Day be postponed to?”

The above are the questions that often arise in the seller communication group. This article will answer them for you.

The Japanese site is the first to open applications for flash sales

On June 2, Amazon Japan began accepting applications for Prime Day flash sales. Amazon said it plans to launch a large-scale synchronized marketing campaign across online and offline on Prime Day.

The application acceptance period for the Japan site's flash sale will end on July 10, 2020. Applications after the deadline will not be accepted.

In addition to the Japanese site being the first to open applications for flash sales, good news also came from the European site.

European site also opens for flash sales

As early as May 19, Amazon Europe released a notice about "2020 Prime Day, submit promotions and coupons now" . The notice asked sellers to seize the time and submit promotion information in time to have the opportunity to participate in this event.

Early this morning, a seller in the seller communication group said that he received an email from Amazon's European team at around 5 pm on June 10, which mentioned the relevant content of the Prime Day flash sale.

Subsequently, several sellers on European sites also said that they had received the same email.

The email stated that the submission window for Prime Day flash sales in Europe has been opened, inviting sellers to submit flash sales. The Amazon team will provide sellers with specific event dates as the event approaches.

Sellers can enter the promotion management page, select [Flash Sale] in the promotion type column, select a product from the recommended inventory products, then click [Select], enter [Schedule], click [Continue to the next step], and submit their own flash sale application.

The email also emphasized that sellers can only submit Prime Day flash sale applications before July 10, 2020 .

FBA goods prepared to participate in Prime Day flash sales must be delivered to Amazon warehouses before August 21, 2020 .

Prime Day is expected to take place in September

Judging from the previous schedule, Prime Day, which is usually held in mid-July, usually has registration about 3 months in advance. In the past, registration was opened in mid-April and remained open for more than a month.

At present, Japan and Europe have opened applications for this year's Prime Day flash sales, and the deadline is July 10. So it can be speculated that Prime Day will be held in September.

Earlier, Amazon’s investment manager said that the 2020 Prime Day promotion should be in September, but the specific time has not been announced.

There is further information that the big sale will be held around Labor Day in September, which is between September 1st and 15th.

As the Japanese and European sites have started the flash sale application activities one after another, it is expected that the US site will also start the registration for the flash sale application activities in the near future. Sellers on the US site can pay attention to emails and backend related news notifications.

Setting aside the uncertainty of the actual date, Amazon has already started calling for sellers to submit events, illustrating the urgency with which sellers need to get everything ready.

Sellers can start preparing for the battle in the following ways↓↓↓

Sellers need to prepare:

1. Submit the Prime Day flash sale application for the relevant site within the specified period as required by Amazon.

2. Prepare promotional products and have sufficient inventory. FBA sellers should deliver relevant products to Amazon warehouses within the specified time limit.

3. You should check your inbox frequently to get emails and updates from Amazon about Prime Day.

4. Prime Day recommendations are constantly changing, and sellers should continue to check the recommendations page regularly.

The above is the relevant information about Prime Day. If sellers still have questions about Prime Day, please leave a message in the comment area for discussion.
