Amazon may hold two Prime Days!

Amazon may hold two Prime Days!

It is said that doing business on Amazon is like riding a roller coaster. Sales are sometimes at their highest point and sometimes at the bottom. These ups and downs affect the sellers’ fragile hearts.

As traffic has been sluggish recently, many sellers feel that their operations have entered a period of weakness. They spend a lot on advertising, but their sales have not increased, which makes sellers anxious. The poor traffic for many consecutive days has made sellers look forward to the early arrival of big promotions to save the sluggish order trend.

There have been reports that Prime Day will be held in advance, and recently, according to foreign media reports, Prime Day may be held twice this year. The news of this good news has made many sellers excited.

According to relevant information, Amazon plans to hold Prime Day in June, which will be one month earlier than the traditional July promotion. At the same time, Amazon management is also considering holding a second Prime Day in the fall.

Prime Day is one of Amazon's most popular promotional events, which has unparalleled appeal to both buyers and sellers. Buyers can enjoy a shopping spree, and sellers can also get the highest peak of traffic and orders in a year.

Prime Day also means a lot to Amazon. The 2020 Prime Day broke historical sales records and was the two largest trading days ever for third-party sellers, with sales exceeding $3.5 billion (£2.5 billion) in 19 countries, an increase of nearly 60% over the previous year.

It is learned that Amazon CEO Bezos recently revealed in his annual shareholder letter that the number of Amazon Prime members worldwide has exceeded 200 million, and 50 million new prime members were added in 2020. In the past, it took almost twice as long to achieve this growth number.

Last year, Amazon postponed Prime Day to October due to delays in all aspects of work caused by the coronavirus crisis. Foreign media pointed out that the 2021 Member Day is likely to take place in mid-June to late June.

One source suspected Amazon was making the change because a June Prime Day event would boost second-quarter results, which face a sharp contrast to the early days of the pandemic. An Amazon spokesman said sales plans are made without regard to Wall Street or quarterly reports, but declined to confirm or deny the June shift.

Although it is not yet certain whether two Prime Days can be successfully held, various signals show that Amazon is very likely to hold Prime Day in advance or even twice. Sellers can also look forward to it. If there are Prime Day promotions in both summer and autumn this year, then sellers will not have to worry about the order situation during this period.

Of course, the prerequisite for a surge in sales is to be prepared in all aspects. Product selection, logistics, link optimization and other factors are all indispensable. Sellers should also pay more attention to news in this regard and not miss the excellent opportunity for a surge in sales.
