Best Deal is a time-limited promotion, referred to as BD, which is free and usually lasts for 14 days.

Application Process

1. Seller declaration

Fill in the template form for BD declaration, the content of which is roughly product information, ASIN, SKU, price, inventory, promotional price, discount, and you can also specify the date of BD (the final decision is up to the system scheduling).

2. Initial review by the investment manager

This step mainly reviews the basics of the listing, such as product titles and product images. Only those that meet the requirements will be submitted, otherwise they will be sent back for modification.

3. Review by the US BD team

The key points of the review are basically the same as those of the preliminary review, which is only to screen out high-quality products that meet the standards to participate in BD activities, and enter those without problems into the system for scheduling.

4. System Scheduling

Amazon's system will schedule based on all the applications, and the system will determine whether the price of the BD is correct, whether there is enough inventory, when it should be scheduled to be executed, whether there is any conflict with the LD application, etc. Most BD applications that fail are rejected here, because the system's judgment cannot be participated in or modified by humans. Successfully scheduled will return a Deals ID and an activity time determined by the system.

Application conditions

1. The product must be in the Amazon warehouse;

2. The registration price must be 15%-20% off the lowest price in the past 30 days. Depending on the category, some categories require a minimum price of 9.99USD after discount;

3. The product review is greater than three stars, or the new product has no review.

Points to note when reporting BD

1. Product title compliance

The title should not contain more than 90 characters and cannot contain special punctuation marks. The brand should be at the very beginning of the title.

2. Main image compliance

Because the main image on the BD display page is the display image, the requirements for the main image are very high. The pure white background and pixels must comply with regulations, and no PS or non-products for sale items can be placed in the image.

3. Product activity price

The BD activity price is a discount of no less than 15% based on the lowest price of the product in the last 30 days. The price issue is a headache for most sellers. Not to mention their own price cuts, the price of the copied products also affects the lowest price, and the price is not something they can grasp. 4. Review requirements

Products with Review 3.0 or above or products without Review, but there is no requirement on the number of Reviews.

5. LD influence of products

In the eyes of the system, Lighting Deals and Best Deals are actually different types of deals of the same type. Therefore, a product is not allowed to participate in both BD and LD at the same time.

Therefore, if your product has been declared LD, and then you apply for BD, the system will cause the BD application to fail and be cancelled. Many sellers who apply for BD are unaware of this, which means that if you want to apply for BD, you must first ensure that there is no LD application and schedule for this product in the short term. If there is a LD schedule, cancel the LD or give up on BD.
