Big news! Amazon is publicly soliciting masks and other items. If the price is too high, the account will be banned!

It is reported that as of 06:00 Beijing time on April 3, the number of confirmed cases of new coronavirus pneumonia worldwide has exceeded 1 million!

The epidemic is getting worse around the world, and no one knows when it will reach a turning point.

However, there is indeed a huge gap in epidemic prevention materials in foreign countries where the epidemic is becoming increasingly serious. Earlier, US President Trump said at a press conference: "You can use a scarf or something else to cover your face, it doesn't have to be a mask."

I don’t know if the American people believe it or not, but one American father can only use his daughter’s diaper as a mask.

This inevitably reminds people of the previous "mask shortage" in the country. It can be seen that the United States is really short of masks!

Amazon is publicly soliciting anti-epidemic supplies

Previously, Amazon closed the category review of masks, and then opened and raised the review threshold. This time, Amazon directly and publicly solicited masks and other related epidemic prevention supplies!

It is understood that Amazon announced that it will give priority to providing critical medical supplies to hospitals and government organizations, and waive platform fees for these products until June 30.

The original text is as follows:

In response to COVID-19, Amazon is prioritizing critical medical supplies to hospitals and government organizations.

You may be a supplier of one or more products (ASINs) that are now only available to hospitals and government organizations that are in urgent need of high-demand medical products such as N95 masks, surgical masks, face shields, gowns, medical gloves, and bulk disinfectants. Selected ASINs for these product types will no longer be available to the general public on Amazon.com and AmazonBusiness.com.

For ASINs affected by this change, we have waived our standard marketplace fees through June 30, 2020 to encourage our selling partners to offer more inventory of these products at the most competitive prices to our customers with the greatest demand.

For more information on these changes, including a list of affected ASINs, please visit COVID-19 Supplies. To request approval to sell these products, please visit: http://www.amazon.com/COVID-19-Supplies

Therefore, if sellers or suppliers have all the qualifications and certifications, they can apply to become Amazon suppliers by following the steps below.

First open the link in your browser:

Click "Contact us" to apply online and fill in the relevant information as required.

Please note that Amazon currently only accepts qualified and high-quality suppliers!

The following products are the relevant epidemic prevention materials needed by Amazon!

This is good news for sellers who have qualified epidemic prevention products but cannot list them on Amazon. You can try to apply. Once selected, it will be a big order!

If the price is too high, the account will be blocked!

Recently, many sellers have reported that when they put their products on the shelves, they are always reminded that the prices are too high. Some sellers’ products have even been discontinued, and some sellers have even been banned for pricing too high .

This is true, and Amazon has issued a recent announcement regarding price gouging.

It can be seen from the announcement that Amazon will crack down on products whose prices increase by more than the average selling price based on the average selling price in the market.

Some laws on certain commodities provide for a fixed upper limit on price increases (e.g. 10%), while others prohibit “unintentionally excessive” price increases without setting a fixed upper limit.

If you believe that Amazon’s efforts to prevent excessive price increases have erroneously suppressed your listing, you can appeal this decision through the Account Health dashboard.

Previously, Amazon's marketplace fair pricing policy stated that Amazon may remove seller offers or suspend seller accounts to combat excessive price increases.

Therefore, sellers who are qualified to sell related products must control prices well. After all, being able to sell related products now is already very profitable!
