Chairish was founded in 2013. Headquartered in San Francisco, Chairish mainly sells second-hand furniture online through consignment. The platform shares sales revenue with consignors, with the highest proportion reaching 80% of sales. Headquartered in San Francisco Founded in 2013 Founder Eric Grosse, Brockway

Basic Introduction

Chairish was originally used by individual users to resell their old furniture. Now, the products and sellers have been greatly expanded, and many professional sellers, consignment stores, antique dealers, designers, etc. have joined. Its product DECASO is a high-end version of Charish. Sellers can only join by invitation. They are generally the world's top designers and collectors, and the products are luxury-grade decorative arts and antiques. In 2016, Chairish further penetrated the furniture market and launched the premium version of Chairish - DECASO, which sells high-end furniture, decorations and even antiques.

Cost

DECASO adopts an invitation system and does not charge commissions, encouraging buyers to communicate directly with dealers to obtain lower prices.

Features

When browsing Chairish and DECASO products, customers can click the "Preview in Your Space" button to activate the iPhone or iPad camera and start the AR function, which allows them to change the location of the product at will and take screenshots in the device's photo album. Many interior designers are also using this feature to simplify their design process.

Financing

It has received a $3.2 million seed round from Azure Capital Partners and Oreilly AlphaTech Ventures, as well as a $5.48 million angel round investment from investors including Chuck Dietrich and David Bonderman (TPG Capital).

In March 2017, Chairish, Inc. announced the completion of an $8 million financing round led by Altos Ventures, with other investors including OATV and Azure Capital Partners.
