What is Seller Dashboard? Seller Dashboard Review

Seller Dashboard can help sellers view the ratings of their eBay accounts on various sites. Currently, there are three levels, from high to low: Top Rated, Above Standard, and Below Standard.

Assessment time

eBay will review the seller's account level on the 20th of every month. If the seller has completed 400 transactions in the first three months, only the account performance in the past three months will be reviewed; if the number of transactions is less than 400, the account performance in the past year will be reviewed.

Assessment indicators

1. Transaction defect rate

Assessment indicators: Cancelled transactions (out of stock) & unresolved disputes.

Unresolved Dispute: The seller fails to handle the buyer’s dispute in a timely manner or the buyer is dissatisfied with the seller’s handling of the dispute and escalates the case to eBay, requesting eBay’s intervention. eBay determines that the case result is the seller’s dispute.

2. Late shipment rate

Although the delivery delay rate will not cause the account to be Below Standard, everyone should also improve the on-time delivery rate. Exceeding this indicator will not only affect the account exposure, but online products may also be forced by eBay to extend the Handling Time.

As long as the seller meets one of the following three conditions, the transaction will not be counted as logistics delay:

(1) The seller ships the goods within the processing time and uploads a valid tracking number with A-Scan information.

(2) The buyer indicates in the feedback that the goods were received on time.

(3) The product is delivered within the estimated delivery time.

3. Cases closed without seller resolution

There is a separate assessment for unresolved disputes, which only has Below Standard and Top Rated. Once the standard is exceeded, it will fall to Below Standard.

▲Top Rated standard: number of unresolved disputes <= 2, or unresolved dispute rate <= 0.3%.

4. Tracking uploaded on time and validated (valid order number upload rate)

Assessment time: The assessment lasts for 3 months.

This assessment indicator applies to all transactions sent to the United States, regardless of the transaction amount. Failure to meet this indicator will not affect sales, but will result in the seller's rating not reaching Top Rated.

Entrance

Step 1: Taking the eBay US site as an example, enter the eBay login page, complete the login, and enter the "My eBay" page.

Step 2: Click "Account" on the "My eBay" page to enter the "Account" page, click [Seller Dashboard] in the left sidebar to enter the "Seller Performance Table" page.

Step 3: At the top of the "Seller Scoreboard" page is the "Seller Scoreboard Summary Overview" area, which displays your seller level and detailed data for each component item.

Precautions

1. If all the above standards are passed with excellence, the seller will not only get the big gold medal logo of the excellent rated seller, but also be eligible for a 10% transaction fee refund if certain conditions are met, and there will be a small gold medal logo on each listing on the buyer's search results page.

Currently, only US/UK/DE sellers who are excellently rated and meet certain conditions can get a 10% transaction fee refund. However, there is only one discount site in the seller's account. If the seller needs to change the discount site, please contact the customer service of the Hong Kong site.

US site conditions: US site performance is Top Rated, 30 days or more return policy, 1 day handling time.

UK/DE site conditions: UK/DE site performance is Top Rated, 30 days or more return policy, 1 day handling time, free shipping options, and Expedited Shipping service.

The 10% FVF is for listings only. It is not necessary for all listings in the seller’s account to meet the corresponding conditions. Listings that meet the corresponding conditions can get FVF refund.

2. Starting from August 2017, Global Rating will only review transactions generated by buyers other than US, UK, and DE. That is, transactions in US, UK, and DE will only be included in the seller ratings of the corresponding sites for review and will not be repeatedly evaluated by Global.

3. In Monthly Breakdown, you can view the seller’s transaction volume and parameters of various indicators for each of the past 12 months, which can help sellers estimate their seller level and allow sellers to more clearly understand how to get out of below-standard conditions.
