At the same time, some consumers also said they would buy clothing and shoes on Shein. In addition, in terms of offline store selection, Walmart became the first choice for Mexican consumers, followed by Coppel and Elektra.
Angel Rico, director of Kantar, said that the average maximum spending of Mexican consumers during the promotion period was 9,000 pesos, which was much higher than the same period last year, based on online and offline sales channels. This means that consumers will make large purchases during the promotion period. Another thing worth noting is that more than 73% of consumers now use social channels such as Facebook and Instagram to learn about the discounts offered by brands or products during the promotion period, while only 51% of them visit online stores for specific information.
