Walmart and HomeValet have reached a cooperation! Launched a smart temperature-controlled delivery box!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Walmart recently announced a partnership with package delivery platform HomeValet to launch smart temperature-controlled delivery boxes to ensure that groceries can be delivered to buyers in the freshest and highest quality state.

It is reported that HomeValet's intelligent temperature-controlled delivery box can provide three storage rooms to store items at room temperature, low temperature, and items that need to be frozen. In addition, it can also use ultraviolet rays to disinfect the surface of items and the inside of the box.

It is reported that in the spring of 2021, Walmart piloted the smart delivery box in Bentonville, Arkansas, and vigorously promoted and marketed it to customers.

HomeValet co-founder John Simms said that Walmart customers are the first to use the smart delivery box. It will provide users with safer and faster delivery times for home delivery. And it will help people who are not convenient to receive groceries in time to store them in the best condition.

It is understood that Walmart did not disclose more details about this cooperation, but at present, during the trial period of the smart delivery box, Walmart stated that it will not charge customers any fees, and it plans to vigorously promote this service in 2022, at which time it will charge buyers a certain fee.
