American Eagle and Geodis have reached a cooperation agreement to establish a distribution network in Japan!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, American Eagle Outfitters recently announced a partnership with French freight forwarder Geodis to support its expansion strategy into Japan.

It is reported that Geodis will be responsible for American Eagle's package transportation in Japan. It will adopt a centralized distribution method at a single location, that is, transporting packages within the same delivery address range and delivering the goods to the buyers in the shortest time possible.

It is learned that American Eagle's cooperation with Geodis is based on: Japanese consumers' deep love for its products and its revenue through e-commerce sales channels has achieved tremendous growth in recent years.

American Eagle said that Japan is just the first step in its global expansion plan. In the coming months, it will continue to expand to other countries in Asia and even other continents.

Chauhan Vijay, senior vice president of American Eagle's international division, said that the cooperation with Geodis will greatly improve its delivery capabilities in Japan, provide faster and better delivery services to local buyers, strengthen the company's omni-channel sales, and further help it gain an important position in the international market.
