Wish launches shoppable video feature! Help sellers increase traffic conversion

It is learned that Wish recently announced that it is launching a new feature called "Wish Clips", which aims to enhance customer experience and simplify the purchasing path, helping sellers increase traffic conversion.

The Wish Clips video feature enables users to get more information about products, consumers can view product details through videos, visit retailers' stores, or add products to their shopping carts. In addition, buyers can also like, like, or make complaints about videos.

Wish Clips is currently available for users on Android mobile devices in nine major Wish markets and will begin rolling out to users on iOS devices in April 2022.

Sellers participating in the Wish Clips program will be able to create and upload 5- to 30-second video clips to showcase their products. Through Wish’s merchant dashboard, sellers can access relevant performance metrics, including buyer likes and viewing time.

The launch of Wish Clips is part of Wish’s broader efforts to enhance the user experience of its mobile platform and provide retailers with more tools to showcase their products. Wish Clips is part of a suite of new products and features that Wish plans to launch in 2022.

Tarun Jain, Chief Product Officer of Wish, said that Wish Clips helps sellers better visualize their products. For merchants, Wish Clips provides a great opportunity to showcase their brand personality and style while driving product discovery.

Tarun Jain noted that the response from our users and merchants so far has been great, and we look forward to completing the rollout of Wish Clips across our user base soon.
