FedEx Expands E-Commerce Delivery Options for Retailers!

FedEx has expanded e-commerce delivery options for retailers, allowing participating retailers to deliver late-night e-commerce orders and receive FedEx Delayed Pickup, with local next-day delivery and two-day delivery to any address in the continental United States.

FedEx Extra Hours are available to select customers and allow retailers to extend their cut-off time for overnight orders from five to eight hours, or to midnight, depending on their current fulfillment processes. Its retail convenience network, FedEx OnSite, uses third-party retailers to receive and hold packages for FedEx customers.

The FedEx OnSite network has grown to include nearly 17,000 Walgreens, Dollar General and Albertsons stores, as well as approximately 2,000 FedEx Office locations.

In addition to providing shoppers with an "easy returns and delivery experience," the FedEx OnSite network is also positioned to provide a "buy online, pick up in store" network for small and medium-sized merchants without physical stores.

The company has also added FedEx Returns technology across the Walgreens retail network, which allows return shipping labels to be printed in-store and eliminates the need to add a return label to each package.

FedEx Delivery Manager offers multiple options for scheduling delivery date, location and time, enabling U.S. residential customers to customize home delivery to fit their schedules.

Additionally, FedEx Returns Technology is a comprehensive returns management solution that provides high-volume merchants and e-tailers with complete visibility into returns and a simple way to track shipments, manage inventory, analyze return trends and make smarter decisions with buyers.

In 2023, the company launched FedEx Integrated Returns in the U.S., a low-cost and simple e-commerce solution that facilitates low-weight returns through FedEx Logistics and supply chain services provided by FedEx Office.
