Following Amazon's lead, Walmart, Target and Best Buy are also launching big fall sales!

According to foreign media reports, in order to seize the peak season traffic, many US e-commerce platforms will hold promotional activities in October. After Amazon announced on Tuesday that it would hold the second "Prime Big Deal Days" promotion from October 10 to 11, Walmart, Target and Best Buy also announced on Wednesday that they would launch their own promotions and start holiday promotions in advance. The autumn promotions of these three e-commerce platforms overlap with Amazon.

Walmart

Recently, Walmart said it will hold the "Walmart Deals – Holiday Kickoff" promotion from October 9 to 12, offering thousands of holiday gifts in categories such as electronics, home, fashion and toys.

Walmart said that during the event, customers can buy a variety of discounted products on its website. In addition, it will provide personalized recommendations and carefully planned shopping features.

Unlike Amazon and Target, users who do not subscribe to the Walmart+ membership program can also enjoy exclusive offers from Walmart during this fall promotion.

Target

On Tuesday (September 19), Target announced that it will hold its annual "Circle Week" fall promotion from October 1 to 7, offering discounts and offers on thousands of products. Consumers who join the "Target Circle" membership program can enjoy discounts of up to 40%.

Additionally, starting October 1, Target will bring back its "Daily Deals" program (formerly known as "Deal Days"), which offers exclusive discounts to members. Members can shop discounted items in-store and on the Target website every day until December 24 (throughout the holiday season).

The retailer said its 2023 holiday assortment includes more than 10,000 new items from its own brands, such as Good & Gather and Threshold, as well as new products from other brands and more than 1,000 new toys.

Best Buy

Best Buy will kick off its first month-long holiday promotion on October 1, and Totaltech's annual membership program Plus and Total members will have exclusive access to thousands of deals and discounts throughout the month of October.

During the event, Totaltech members can get a $50 coupon for every $500 spent, which can be used during the Christmas promotion in December. Best Buy will also open the Black Friday promotion for members in advance from October 27th to 29th.

In addition, to entice non-members to shop, Best Buy will team up with Samsung (October 6-8) and Microsoft (October 13-15) to host two special sales events, offering cash back and discounts for those who purchase devices such as laptops, headphones and computers.
