Target adds to beauty category, launching over 2,000 products to attract customers

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Target announced the expansion of its online and in-store beauty product lines, launching more than 2,000 new products covering nearly 50 new brands. The updated beauty category price range starts at $1.29, and 90% of the new products are priced below $20, aiming to meet consumers' demand for cost-effective products.

It is understood that in Target stores, customers will see dedicated display areas for emerging brands and well-known brands, and the online platform will focus on cosmetics, skin care products and hair care products to ensure that new products can be displayed to consumers in a centralized manner. In this way, Target hopes to enhance its influence in the beauty market and attract more online shopping users.

In addition to enriching its product range, Target has also launched an online beauty studio that provides a virtual makeup trial function, where consumers can try out different facial, eye, lip, nail and hair colors. In addition, the online platform also provides hair care and skin care tests to help consumers choose products that are suitable for them.

In order to attract more customers, Target will also launch a special promotion from February 22 to March 1. After consumers purchase beauty products worth more than $30, they can get a $5 Target gift card through Target Circle. Through this move, Target hopes to encourage the purchase desire of existing customers and attract new users to participate.

Target said that the more than 2,000 newly added beauty products include top national brands, Target's own brands, and emerging brands created by diverse founders such as blacks, Latinos, and women, demonstrating its efforts in promoting diverse brands. At the same time, Target plans to continue to expand other health categories this year to further enhance the overall product diversity and competitiveness.

As consumers' reliance on online shopping continues to increase, Target's move not only enhances its competitiveness in the traditional retail market, but also responds to the demand of more and more consumers for the convenience and diverse choices of online beauty shopping.
