How much is your average monthly salary as an Amazon operator? Is this line of work promising?

Let's update

Monthly salary has dropped to four figures for more than half a year. I am just living a life of idleness and waiting for death.

Garbage company, garbage Amazon

Good night

I came across this topic again recently and saw that there was an answer of my own, so I updated it by the way.

My current base salary is 8.5k. I blindly guess that with my work experience and operational level, I might get about 10k for an interview in our company. It's a bit low for me because I have never changed jobs, so the salary increase is slow. HR only gives small increases, which is commonly known as insulting salary increases. ... The company often posts recruitment needs on the boss list. The operational salary range seems to be 9-12k, team leader 12-15k, and supervisor 15-18k. I'm not sure how much of it is inflated.

There is no Amazon There are exceptions in the company. If there are, it’s just that it hasn’t arrived yet. Yes, you’ve been working overtime a lot recently, and you can’t see any benefits, but the leader requires you to do the work that you can’t see benefits with enthusiasm...

There are times when you feel helpless. As an operator, the biggest feeling you have is that your boss will find trouble for no reason. Many things can be handled on weekdays, but they are forced to be done on weekends. If you don’t do them well, you are irresponsible for your work and have a problem with your work attitude. I indirectly told him that it is not necessary to deal with it now (non-working hours) and it is best not to arrange work on weekends. I don’t know if he didn’t understand or I didn’t understand what he meant. He started to preach, paying attention to every little thing, and as an operator, you must complete the work on time, and no link may have an impact on the entire event. Efficient, serious and responsible, the more I talk, the more outrageous it is. In short, please accept the reality that I will arrange work for you on weekends, and don’t daydream. .

Disgusting face, workers just feel angry occasionally

If you have other career options, it is not recommended to join this pit

If you feel confused about your future and career, you may want to try it.

There may be surprises

Foreign language requirements for Amazon operations

Level 4 is enough for university students, and of course level 6 is better. A higher level of foreign language is actually very helpful for work, but when you are proficient to a certain extent, the level of foreign language is not so important. For example, level 8 of English major is really a waste of talent...

I don't know what the monthly salary you are asking about is. After all, it is true that operating income is unstable.

Let me tell you about my basic situation

The basic salary is 7.5K, including performance salary , cried in the toilet... Trying hard to find an excuse to ask for a pay raise

Currently my commission exceeds my base salary, and I have won a BESTLLER award in a small category.

Most operators who can achieve a monthly sales of $100,000 are considered to have above-average capabilities. I'll tell you in secret that my store's sales in August were several times higher than $100,000⊙ω⊙

I am considered to be a relatively good operator in my small company, with the right time, right place and right people...

Below is my personal understanding of Amazon.

After all, I came to Shenzhen right after graduation, and I have more than 2 years of Amazon operation experience.

The actual operation of the store is about one year ´•ﻌ•`

Amazon operations are divided into boutique and distribution, unknown small companies, medium-sized companies, small workshop companies, and large companies that are well-known in the cross-border e-commerce circle.

There is no future for mass distribution. High-quality products require high operational capabilities and quality, and require mysterious understanding (I think). This is really not a job that everyone can do.

Small companies and large companies have their own misfortunes and fortunes. It is hard to draw a conclusion, but I think most people recommend going to mature large companies. Small companies have many tricks. Since I have never worked in a large company, I have no right to speak. You can choose to go as you like.

About the future of the industry

From the perspective of my supervisor, this is a very promising industry with room for development. He is passionate about his work and confident about the prospects of the industry. He is responsible and loyal (he has been with the company since its establishment). He works hard and personally, and makes decisions for the company from the perspective of the company. He put himself in the role of an entrepreneur and worked overtime every day. He was the first to start the shift and the last to finish the shift. I think he has seen the sky at 1 a.m. in Shenzhen. Of course, it can be seen that the boss also values him. It is a feeling of mutual appreciation.

As a worker who has been in this industry for 2 years, my overall opinion is that there are only three ways to operate Amazon:

1. Become a senior executive and a partner of the company (my supervisor is a partner)

2. Gain enough experience and save enough money to start a business

3. Change career

Therefore, Amazon is an industry that makes people feel insecure.

The following are some of my thoughts on this industry, mostly negative energy

1. The basic salary is generally low, there are almost no benefits, the minimum salary standard for five insurances and one housing fund is the lowest level, and the working atmosphere is generally tense.

2 It is human nature to handle work on weekends. As a qualified operator, you need to have this awareness.

3. Most companies generally have a short week, or even a single day off. Overtime is serious, but there is no overtime pay by default. A more humane company will give 20 yuan meal allowance for overtime exceeding 2 hours, which is considered a welfare. Remember to be grateful.

4. The industry has a large staff turnover rate and a high turnover rate. Companies dismiss probationary employees with just a few words. I personally have a one-year job search period. I have been fired 8 times, including those I left on my own and those persuaded by HR. It's a rough estimate, I haven't calculated it in detail. 1 day, half a day, 3 days, 1 week, half a month, 2 months

5. Commission arrears occur for a long time. Although we know that it will be paid sooner or later, it will definitely be delayed by 1-2 months than the agreed time.

5. Basic salary Low, cheap labor Many, fresh graduates Generally 4.5-6.5K, some extreme companies offer less than 4K, if you don't go, there will always be leeks willing to go. Family-owned enterprises are very common. Purchasing is the uncle, HR is the niece, and development is the cousin. This is probably the current situation.

After graduation, I had no career plan at all. I am a person who accidentally entered the Amazon operations industry. I encountered a lot of obstacles during my job search, but fortunately I was stubborn and never thought about changing careers. Maybe I was not well-informed and didn’t know what I hadn’t done yet, so I persisted.

By the way, I don’t work overtime. At least this year, I don’t work overtime for more than 5 hours a month.

Workers, hurry up!!!
