Being cheated

The deceived seller first saw someone saying that his Japanese site was not doing well and had been losing money for a while, so he planned to sell the account to make up for the losses.

The seller then added this person on WeChat to learn more. The scammer said that he sold the store together with the VPS, and that he had operated a store with several reviews.

The seller then asked about some store information, such as sales, whether there was FBA, etc. The scammer showed the seller the backend page and claimed that his store was registered with real information.

Judging from the screenshots of the background, there should be some feedback. Afterwards, the seller and the scammer chatted about some operational matters. The scammer even vividly talked about how he couldn’t make back the platform monthly rental fee on the Japanese site, and attributed the reason to the different exchange rates on the Japanese site, which led to his own pricing errors.

Failure to calculate costs or choose the right products may be the reason for poor performance and loss. However, the exchange rate is nothing more than multiplying the price after calculating the RMB. If the euro can be calculated but the yen cannot be calculated, it will lead to wrong pricing and loss. No matter how you think about it, it is a bit far-fetched.

However, the victim did not think too much at the time and decided to pay for the purchase after logging into the VPS to verify the store. However, after getting the full set of information, he found that the 163 email address used to register the store could not be logged in at all, and the password was wrong every time. After contacting the scammer, the scammer still insisted that the password was in the information and he did not change it.

Not only that, the VPS just sent to the seller to view the store could not be logged in, and it also showed that the password was wrong. It was obvious that the scammer changed the password of the VPS immediately after the transfer.

After asking the scammer to return the money to no avail, the scammer directly blocked me and never responded again. The money I spent on the account just went down the drain. I put the scammer's WeChat details below. The avatar and WeChat name can be changed, but the WeChat ID cannot be changed. Everyone must be careful not to be fooled!

We have always been advising against the buying and selling of accounts and company information. Although it is easier and cheaper than registering a company or store yourself, the risks behind it are much greater.

I have talked to sellers before and there was a tragedy where the purchased accounts had already been ordered and sent to the inventory, but there was a problem with the registration information and the store was linked to it and the account seller also disappeared.

Moreover, in November last year, Rakuten Japan experienced a large-scale store closure and review. The reason behind this was that the account merchants took advantage of the 180-day refusal to pay loophole, and a large number of registered stores expired together.

Thousands of stores were affected by this incident, including some that were used as main sales stores by sellers.

The risks of association, false information, and being ripped off by big merchants are all problems that buyers and sellers have to face. These incidents have been happening all the time, so don't think you can be an exception. As long as you are still buying a store, you will be caught.
