According to data from the first quarter of this year, there are 313 million Internet users in the United States, and 250 million consumers have or have had online shopping experience! According to the growth rate shown in the first quarter and the estimate made last year, this year's annual online retail sales of e-commerce may exceed one trillion US dollars for the first time! Although many consumers have reduced their shopping expenses after inflation this year, according to official surveys, 53% of consumers said that if the discount is appropriate, they will still place an order.


And there is a more interesting phenomenon. Due to the multiple influences of product shortages and price increases, when consumers buy the products they need, they will choose new products with more price advantages rather than big-name products. Last year's consumption data showed that even when buying necessities, consumers are more willing to try new brands and new products.

In the post-epidemic era, consumers are more willing to pay for their family life. The survey shows that 39% of consumers choose to significantly change their living space, and 50% of consumers say they are more willing to spend on home furnishings now than before the epidemic. Therefore, it is expected that in 2022, the demand for home decoration and furniture, home repair tools, food packaging for going out, kitchen supplies, etc. will also increase significantly. Among them, sales of home office supplies are expected to increase by 157%, and sales of home decoration categories represented by artificial plants will increase by 89%. In the first quarter of this year, personal care, vitamins and supplements, and groceries are the best-selling categories.

Judging from the data, the consumption trend on the Amazon platform is indeed changing significantly. It is not enough to just look at the daily sales data. The sales data of Prime Day next month can better illustrate whether the big promotion festival is still attractive. The Prime Day LD schedule for the US site has begun to be released in the past two days.


LD schedule has been released, how to view the schedule time period


Recently, many sellers have been discussing scheduling issues in our communication group. The schedules for some sellers have come out, but many sellers are still waiting.

Everyone should note that this year's Membership Day is on the 12th and 13th, which is Tuesday and Wednesday, instead of Monday and Tuesday in previous years. Generally speaking, Membership Day has the largest traffic and order volume, which is expected to be more than 6.2 times the average daily traffic during the peak season. The vast majority of transactions will be conducted within these two days of Membership Day.


Therefore, the best time to schedule activities during the peak season is still on December 13th. If you don’t schedule on that day, the effect may not be as good as free activities such as exclusive discounts. Especially if you schedule in the early morning of US time, it is recommended that you don’t open this LD. You can consider canceling the LD and registering for an exclusive event.
