Each seller will be rewarded 40,000 pounds! ? Amazon launches a major incentive plan

In the past two days, Amazon released an announcement in the background, launching a new seller incentive program. Eligible sellers who complete incentive activities can receive a reward of up to 40,000 pounds!

Moreover, this plan is not only open to completely new sellers, even old sellers can get rewards by opening stores on other sites!


This new incentive plan targets seven sites: the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. As long as you do not have a professional plan to open a store in any of these sites , you will meet the entry requirements of this new seller incentive plan. For example, if my store has opened a store in the United States but not in other sites, I can also participate in this plan.


Specific items of the new seller incentive program

There are many contents in the incentive plan . I will briefly list them and then talk about the key points:

① New brand sellers can receive a 5% rebate on their first $1 million in sales.

② Use Amazon’s partnered carrier program to send FBA shipments and save $100 on direct shipping costs.

③ Overseas sellers can save $200 by using Amazon Global Logistics AGL for delivery

④ Get 90 days of free storage for 50 items and 180 days of free liquidation through Fulfillment by Amazon

⑤Get ​​$50 CPC advertising bonus directly after registration.

⑥ Register one product for free in the Amazon Vine program and get up to 30 reviews (worth $200)


It is not difficult to see that the most powerful one is the first sales rebate . If the full amount is one million US dollars , you can get a reward of up to 50,000 US dollars! To meet this recognition condition, the seller needs to complete the brand registration within 6 months after entering the new site and publishing the first salable ASIN .


There is another point to note here. I checked the detailed policy. For this brand seller, Amazon will only capture the first registered brand owner, which means that brand authorization cannot participate in the event.


Some sellers will definitely ask, it is not difficult to participate in this program, and the rebate is based on sales. New stores can get some benefits from Amazon. However, this highest rebate cannot be withdrawn directly. According to Amazon's policy, this rebate will not be displayed in the background. Sellers can only view the detailed rebate amount through the dedicated dashboard of the "New Seller Incentive Program". At the same time, this rebate cannot be withdrawn, but can only be used to deduct the sales commission of the next month.


This seems a bit of a scam, but this is also Amazon’s normal operation. The bonus for off-site traffic cannot be withdrawn and can only be used to offset commissions.


In fact, sellers who can get this rebate generally do not pay less commission. This part of the money can still be returned to the seller, but the actual arrival time will be delayed a lot. First, sales must be generated → incentives are calculated in the next month → deducted from the next month's commission. In this way, the incentive money for an order will not be credited until two or three months later.


In addition to the above rebate, other discounts are relatively easy to understand, basically some discounts, etc. However, I would like to remind everyone of the time limit of the incentive plan.


Notes on other incentive projects

Except for the first rebate item which needs to be filed within 6 months of opening a store, the remaining five items have a 90-day deadline , requiring sellers to perform corresponding operations within 90 days after creating the first salable ASIN.


For example, AGL and the carrier partnership program, as well as coupons and free on-site advertising credits, require sellers to register and use them within 90 days after opening a new store and creating the first salable ASIN to obtain these credits . Free Vine requires successful brand filing within six months, and joining the Vine program and registering products within 90 days after being identified as a brand seller.


The last point to note is that this year's new version of the new seller incentive plan is for new stores registered after March 1. Stores registered before this date are only eligible for the 2022 version of the plan. Please refer to the backend policy for details.
