Due to regulatory restrictions across the United States, eBay issued an announcement on the 5th of this month stating that it will ban the sale of some new coronavirus epidemic-related products such as masks and hand sanitizers.

Effective immediately, sales of face masks, including N95/N100 and surgical masks, hand sanitizer or hand gel, and disinfectant wipes are prohibited. eBay will block new listings of the above products and remove existing products from the shelves.

eBay stated that the above products may violate applicable U.S. laws and regulations and eBay policies, and exhibit unfair pricing behavior to platform buyers.

Next, eBay will continue to monitor developments and quickly remove any product listings that mention COVID-19, coronavirus, or 2019nCoV in the title or description, except for books.
