Only Prime members of Amazon Spark can post. Non-members can only browse information but cannot participate in posting or commenting.

Spark is available on the Amazon app for iPhone and Android version 14.2.1 or higher.

Purpose

Amazon's purpose of setting up this platform is simple, to increase the stickiness of active users. Just like people can do on Instagram, consumers can post content and products they are interested in in Spark, and even post links (of course, these have requirements, as we will see later). Users can also initiate a vote on the platform to compare two different Amazon products.

In July 2017, Amazon launched Amazon Spark, which is currently only available in the US Amazon iPhone app.

In June 2019, Amazon officially decided to shut down the Spark service.
