TinEye currently supports the following image formats: JPEG, PNG and GIF.

Image file size limit: 1 megabyte maximum file size.

1. Simply copy and paste the webpage or image URL into the search box. After submitting the image in the above way, Tineye will search for similar images.

2. TinEye also provides plug-ins and bookmark script buttons for IE, Chrome, Firefox and other browsers. After installing the TinEye plug-in, users can right-click on images on the web page in the browser to search.

Another service worth mentioning about TinEye is that it provides a search API, namely TinEye Search API. This API is charged by the number of searches. Through the API it provides, you can integrate the image reverse search function into your website. In a search API call, it will return the total number of search results, the URL address of each matching image, the URL address of the page where each matching image is located, etc. Search API is generally used by some commercial companies or organizations, mainly used in image copyright ownership determination, personnel information verification, trademark monitoring, image tracking and content uniqueness determination.
