Parent Company Introduction

Mucharm's parent company is ADWAYS Group , which was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It operates the largest advertising alliance services in Japan, " JANet " and " Smart-C ", and provides advertising delivery services for smartphones, " AppDriver ", and a global smartphone App advertising effect monitoring system " PartyTrack ". In addition, there are many businesses such as App content planning, development, and operation. Overseas bases are distributed in more than 10 countries and regions including Asia and North America. The Chinese subsidiary has been engaged in Internet advertising business, e-commerce, Internet marketing, and mobile advertising business since 2004. Based on the advertising alliance " CHANet Achievement Network" covering the whole of China, it provides integrated marketing and promotion services such as cross-border e-commerce, search engines, social marketing, and mobile marketing.

This company has a certain legendary color. Its founder Haruhisa Okamura was born in 1980. He dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to start his own business. When ADWAYS went public in 2006 , Haruhisa was only 25 years old.

Company Founding

MuCharm was incubated by Japanese mobile Internet company Adways in 2017. Most of its founding team members are employees with many years of work experience in Adways. CEO YOSHIKAZU joined Adways Group in 2006 and served as the group's chief strategy officer and general manager of overseas business ; COO Tian Jialei joined Adways in 2013 and worked in logistics for 7 years.

1. Keep it simple

MuCharm's overall interface breaks away from the various layouts commonly seen in e-commerce, and insists on a unified and simple style for product images. In this era of pursuing aesthetics, MuCharm's simple but not simple appearance has brought us a lot of natural traffic

2. Localization

Localization is a long and arduous task for MuCharm. In the early stage, we invested a lot of time and energy in Arabic proofreading, COD service activation, customer service communication and other links. With the outbreak of the feminist revolution in the Middle East, the social status and consumption capacity of women have also increased significantly. Therefore, we set our target users as female users aged 18 to 35 , hoping that through in-depth communication with them, we can discover products that better meet the needs of local female users and provide services that exceed expectations.

3. Differentiation

At first, we did not hesitate to choose the clothing market, which is already very popular in the Middle East. However, it is obviously not a wise move to compete with e-commerce giants that have been rooted in the Middle East for a long time for traffic. After a fierce ideological struggle, we finally chose the home life market and strived to be the pioneer in opening up the market.

Development History

It was launched on December 8, 2017 in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and other countries.

In May 2018 , MuCharm , a Middle East home furnishing e-commerce platform under the Adway Group , successfully won the silver medal at the 6th Topdigital Innovation Award.
