It is also worth mentioning that according to industry sources, this time Amazon's sensitive word check affects all categories . Multiple Amazon managers have issued notices in succession, indicating that listings containing words such as Free, Gift, Warranty, etc. may be at risk of being removed from the shelves.

There are quite a few sellers affected this time, and most of them received performance rewards for "listing policy violations" or "restricted product policy violations", and the risk of their products being removed! Some sellers also reported that they received performance rewards for links that they had not sold for a year!

In addition to the words mentioned above, words like unconditional, Contact, Guarantee, and emoticons (~ * ? ^) may trigger Amazon’s performance warnings.

At present, after some sellers asked customer service, they came to the following conclusion:

1. Gift/Free/Warranty—Three words really need to be deleted. Among them, "gift" has been registered as a trademark in the United States Trademark Office, and words such as Free and Warranty have not yet been successfully registered as word trademarks.

2. About the word "free". Some sellers often write "feel free to contact us" in the five points. This is also not in compliance with regulations. The reason is similar to the previous one. Because this is not a product feature, it cannot appear in the five points.

3. Are the three banned words a new rule? The customer service said that this rule has always existed, and the general content is listing compliance.

4. As for whether it can be included in the picture? I can't give an absolute answer to this. I can only say that there are no cases that have been arrested because of pictures.

5. According to incomplete statistics, in addition to Free, Gift, Warranty, common words such as Contact, Guarantee, Unconditional, etc. also have the risk of affecting performance.

After the news broke in the industry yesterday, many sellers checked their listings overnight, deleted or replaced the relevant common words, and restored them at five o'clock, and the performance was automatically cleared.

In short, Amazon has carried out various compliance rectifications before the big promotion, and has entered the peak period of machine scanning for regular sensitive words.
