Walmart and Symbotic collaborate to optimize supply chain!

Walmart has partnered with Symbotic, a robotics and automation company, and announced plans to install high-tech automation systems in 25 Walmart regional distribution centers.

The two parties have been working to optimize Walmart's supply chain since 2017, and the installation of the new system will reduce the time required to unload, sort and transport inventory to Walmart stores.

Walmart announced a strategic agreement with Ibotta in June this year, launching a new digital discount program on its website Walmart.com and Walmart app. In the same month, Walmart said it would expand and extend its cooperation with Inovalon INOV, a well-known cloud computing platform provider in the healthcare field.

Walmart has also made significant progress in strengthening its delivery department: FedEx introduced Carrier Pickup and launched the Walmart + membership program; Flytrex and Zipline's drone delivery in the United States, etc. Walmart also announced an alliance with DoorDash in the third quarter of fiscal 2021 to deliver prescriptions from Sam's Club pharmacies, while expanding Scan & Go to all Sam's Club gas stations in the United States.
