It is learned that Amazon recently announced that it will build a new 630,000 square foot distribution center in Florida, USA. The new robotic distribution center and five new distribution sites are expected to create more than 2,000 full-time jobs in the state to support Amazon's business expansion. Amazon currently operates more than 50 fulfillment centers and sites in Florida, including more than 10 delivery sites launched in 2020. The five new delivery stations will provide more powerful power for Amazon's "last mile" to improve its delivery efficiency. According to the findings of its 2021 U.S. Economic Impact Report, Amazon has invested more than $530 billion across the United States and created more than 52,000 full-time jobs, including more than $18 billion in Florida. This data demonstrates the company's commitment to creating high-quality jobs and economic development opportunities.
