China Merchants Port Holdings Co., Ltd. is an important state-owned enterprise directly managed by the central government. Headquartered in Hong Kong, it is one of the earliest Chinese - funded enterprises established and operated in Hong Kong. About China Merchants Port Holdings Limited China Merchants Port Holdings Co., Ltd. was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1992. It is an important subsidiary of China Merchants Group and is now a world-leading port developer, investor and operator. It has established a relatively complete port network group in major hub ports along the coast of China. The terminals it controls or invests in are located in container hub ports such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Tianjin, Dalian, Zhangzhou, Zhanjiang, and Shantou, and have successfully deployed in South Asia, Africa, the Mediterranean in Europe, and South America. China Merchants Port has been deploying overseas ports since 2008 and has been continuously implementing the national initiative of the "Belt and Road" in recent years to accelerate its internationalization.
