Delhivery's team has successfully fulfilled more than 340 million orders for more than 50 million households in India. With 19 automated sorting centers, 30 warehousing centers, 44 centers, more than 2,500 direct delivery centers, more than 5,000 partner centers, more than 14,000 vehicles and more than 21,000 team members, it delivers 1 million packages every day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Delhivery was established in May 2011 in Delhivere.

In June 2011, the express logistics service was launched in Delhi NCR.

In 2011, the team size was 150+.

In 2012, we launched our fulfilment service in Delhi and Chennai with warehouses of over 10,000 sq. ft. and a team size of 1,000+.

In 2013, Delhivery's logistics services expanded to more than 130 cities and the team size reached 2,500+.

In 2014, Delhivery's express logistics services expanded to 175 cities in India, and the team size grew to 5,000+.

In 2015, Delhivery’s express logistics services expanded to 350 cities, with 16 distribution centers with 1 million square feet of warehousing, including the first FC in Dubai for cross-border warehousing.

In 2016, freight service using trucks was introduced.

In 2017, Delhivery's express logistics services expanded to 1,200 cities, with 24 distribution centers and more than 1 million square feet of storage space. The team size expanded to 15,000+.

In 2018, we reached 250 million deliveries and counting shipments, operated more than 30 storage centers in 12 cities, and the team size reached 21,000+.

Financing

In April 2012, Delhivery received US$1.5 million in Series A funding led by Times Internet Limited.

In September 2013, Delhivery received US$6 million in Series B funding from Times Internet Limited and Nexus Venture Partners.

In September 2014, Delhivery received US$35 million in Series C funding, with existing investors Times Internet Limited and Nexus Venture Partners following suit.

In April 2015, Delhivery received a US$85 million Series D financing led by Tiger Global Management, with participation from Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Nexus Venture Partners and Times Internet.

On March 27, 2017, Shanghai Mingying Information Technology Co., Ltd. invested US$100 million in Delhivery.

In May 2017, Indian logistics startup Delhivery Pvt. Ltd announced that it had received 2 billion Indian rupees (approximately 30 million US dollars) in financing from China's Fosun International Group.
