Basic Introduction

Category ID refers to the category code of the product. When creating a batch new table, each product needs to fill in the correct category code.

• Category IDs for each site are different. We currently provide Match Category Tool, which is a category code conversion table. This table is based on the Malay site and can convert the Category ID of Malay products to the corresponding site with one click.

• Since the categories of each site may be adjusted and changed from time to time, the Match Category Tool will be updated from time to time. Please consult the merchant operation manager.

• The current Category ID of each site is displayed in the My Product interface of Seller Center. Click Add New Product in Batch Action in the upper right corner. You can see the Category List in the lower right corner of the new interface.

How to use the Match Category table

• First, please fill in the new content form of the Malay site correctly, then copy and paste all the new content into the MatchCategory form, and click the corresponding site conversion button according to your needs. Then, convert the Category ID and calculate the price (the price is in the local currency unit), and then upload it directly to other sites (Note: the new content of the Taiwan site must be translated into Traditional Chinese before it can be uploaded, and other sites can directly upload English)

• Supplement: ID/TH sites can directly list English products first, and the product platforms with good sales performance or potential will be translated into the local language.

• Note: If the Taiwan site has Chinese product information, you can directly use the Match Category form according to the above steps. If there is no Chinese product information, you can contact the account manager to seek the platform's free English to Chinese translation service.

FAQ

1. The converted Category ID is incorrect. How to solve it?

Since the Category IDs of various sites are updated from time to time, new Category IDs may be added or the original Category IDs may become invalid. Please contact your merchant manager to request the latest version of the match Category ID tool.

2. Products on the Indonesian site are not prohibited items, but when new products are added, the converted Category is classified as prohibited items, which affects sales. How to solve this problem?

You can promptly adjust the classification of the product to the non-prohibited category.
