About Noon.com

Noon was founded in 2016. Its headquarters will be located in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and it will operate in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and then develop in regions with population growth, Internet coverage and disposable income. The total population of the Middle East is 315 million, and the Internet penetration rate is 60%, especially in the UAE, which exceeds 90%, and almost everyone can use it; and the proportion of e-commerce retail in the Middle East is only 2% of the total retail, which is far lower than the world average of 10%. Entry requirements

4. The products sold comply with the regulations of the target market and meet at least one of the following conditions:

If the SKU is more than 5,000, you must provide at least one product link on Amazon or other platforms;

Have your own brand and produce high-quality SKUs (you need to provide proof of brand registration or brand authorization).

Fees and Payments

The fees charged by the Noon platform are only platform commissions and fixed fees, and there are no other fees. In terms of payment collection, Noon has cooperated with Payoneer to solve the problem of sellers receiving payments.

Platform Logistics

The Noon platform supports Chinese sellers to choose two logistics cooperation models, namely seller back to back, referred to as SB2B and FBN Dubai/Riyadh (similar to Amazon delivery, and warehouses are set up in Dubai and Riyadh).

Noon encourages sellers to use the overseas warehouse model because it has more advantages:

Development History

-On November 13, 2016, UAE entrepreneur Mohamed Alabbar and Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund invested $1 billion to launch the e-commerce website Noon, entering the developing Middle East e-commerce market. The initial investment will be used to develop supporting facilities for e-commerce websites, such as payment, distribution, warehouses and employees. It is understood that Alabbar and other Gulf investors invested a total of $500 million, and the remaining $500 million came from the Saudi sovereign investment fund Public Investment Fund.

-In January 2017, Noon provided more than 20 million products to Middle Eastern families, covering fashion, electronic products, etc., aiming to become the "Amazon" and "Alibaba" of the Middle East.
