Great news! Amazon coupons can now be used to claim expense compensation!


The latest news is that Amazon has launched a new limited-time discount coupon event, which provides cost compensation for newly released Amazon Logistics (FBA) products.



Specifically, from November 21 to January 31, 2025, sellers will automatically be reimbursed for coupon fees for coupons launched for newly released Amazon Logistics (FBA) products.


Fee compensation : Every time a coupon is redeemed, the seller will receive $0.6 in compensation.

Refund form and time : refund to the seller's account before February 28, 2025

Applicable sites : United States, Canada.

Applicable products : Only FBA products that are first put on sale after November 2, 2024 will be automatically eligible, no registration required. (If you have new products that meet the requirements, you can use the coupon generously, it doesn’t cost money anyway!)


⚠️Notes:


1. The specific submission results are subject to the display of the Coupon Dashboard on the seller platform;
2. If there is an error in coupon submission, the seller needs to make modifications according to the prompts.


Amazon has also made adjustments to the rules for using coupons. There are two types of products that do not have a historical price (was price) and can also submit coupons:

Visit the coupon page:

Seller Central > Advertising > Coupons > Create New Coupon (or Create in Bulk)


To create a coupon:

Select a product > Set start and end dates > Determine budget > Set discount > Submit.

  • Ensure that there is sufficient inventory of highly discounted items to avoid out-of-stock situations during the event that could affect sales.

Coupon Setting Notes


1. Effective time : After a coupon is set, it usually takes up to 6 hours to take effect.


2. Loss of eligibility : If the product loses eligibility after the coupon is activated due to insufficient inventory, changes in product ratings, etc., Amazon will immediately deactivate the coupon.


3. Some items are ineligible : If your coupon includes 10 items and 2 of them are ineligible, the buyer can still see and select the remaining 8 items and the coupon will still be valid.


4. Editing restrictions : Once a coupon is activated, you can only edit it to extend the duration or increase the budget. To make other changes, you need to cancel the existing coupon and then create a new one.


5. Delayed Display : After a coupon is created, there may be a delay in completing validation and disabling it. During the delay, the disabling coupon will still be valid even if it is not displayed on the Amazon website.


6. Promotional stacking : Using a coupon in combination with other promotions may result in additional discounts. You can refer to the figure below to understand the rules for stacking different promotions.
