The alert reads: "Amazon has updated its counterfeit goods policy. If your trademark rights are infringed on a product detail page and the ASIN product itself is counterfeit, you must report the full ASIN, not the specific seller's product for sale."

This has confused many sellers. If they follow the prompts, it means to report the entire ASIN. Wouldn’t it be very uncomfortable to encounter this situation with the R mark? The R mark is the abbreviation of Registered, which means that the trademark has passed the review of the Trademark Office and the applicant has obtained the exclusive right to the trademark.

In this regard, some experienced sellers explained: "It doesn't matter if you report trademark infringement with the R mark. This policy has been in place for half a year. I have dealt with dozens of follow-up sales in the past six months and have never had any problems. You can only proceed to the next step by checking this, and then select what the other party's product is not in my catalog below."

The seller further stated: "The template I used shows that I am the brand owner. This brand is exclusive and has not been authorized to anyone else. Their selling in this way infringes my rights. Asking Amazon to handle it (in English) will basically succeed. It shows failure only because people choose to submit information complaints after receiving the performance.   Only when the appeal is passed and the performance is eliminated, will it be shown as a failure on your side. However, most people will not appeal again, and even if the appeal is successful, they will not dare to follow you again. "
