Amazon US may launch its own brand TV in October! TCL participates in the design and manufacturing!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Amazon plans to launch its own brand TV in the United States as early as October. It is reported that the Amazon device and Lab126 team have been preparing for this plan for nearly two years.

The TVs, which will be powered by the voice assistant Alexa, are being designed and manufactured by third parties, including Chinese tech giant TCL. Amazon is also designing another TV in-house.

Amazon launched its own-brand TV in India late last year, and the launch in the U.S. is a big help in building an Apple-like ecosystem of Amazon devices and services, including Alexa, Amazon Prime Video and other large media sites.

In addition, Amazon's move will also pose a competitive threat to electronics giants such as Samsung, LG and Sony, which often sell their TVs through the Amazon platform.
