It is learned that under a new initiative of the Biden administration, the Port of Los Angeles will now solve supply chain problems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. According to Marketwatch, FedEx, UPS and Walmart are also doing their best to deliver products.

But experts say the measures can only partially alleviate problems in the transport sector, with extended product production cycles, increased transport costs or labour shortages also being serious problems.

Experts say the fitness industry is one of the sectors particularly affected by the pandemic, and they predict that inventory replenishment of sports and fitness equipment and apparel will not return to normal until the second quarter of 2022.

Marshal Cohen, senior analyst at market research firm NPD Group, said the situation is not so optimistic and it will take until the end of November or even December 2022 for retailers' warehouses to return to normal.

The bicycle market is also struggling. A large number of sellers believe that the federal government should have intervened earlier, three or four months ago, to avoid the situation from becoming so serious. It is reported that most bicycles are made in China and other Asian countries. Compared with the past, it only took 45 days. It now takes more than 70 days for a bicycle to reach the warehouse from the production line. Experts say that the current supply chain problems may continue until the end of February 2022 or early March 2022.

It is learned that the main problem faced by sellers in the toy market is the surge in container costs, which has now skyrocketed to $24,000 compared to the previous $3,000. As the Christmas holiday approaches, sellers are very worried that a large number of products will not be delivered on time, while buyers are worried about a large number of products experiencing a large-scale price increase.
