Amazon's free same-day delivery service is expanding to 6 more cities in the United States!

It is learned that Amazon currently provides free same-day delivery service in specific cities in the United States. Recently, Amazon announced that it will expand the list and launch free same-day delivery service in six more cities in the United States.

The six cities include: Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Tampa, Charlotte and Houston. The total number of cities in the United States where same-day delivery is available has now reached 12.

Amazon can usually deliver within five hours, depending on when the order is placed. For example, an order placed between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. will be delivered by 6 p.m. Customers can also place an order before midnight for next-day delivery. According to Amazon, the fastest same-day delivery to date was completed in 22 minutes in Dallas.

Additionally, only Prime members with orders over $35 can enjoy the service for free. Amazon will still deliver orders under $35 the same day, but Prime members will have to pay an additional $2.99.
