Home furnishing market trends! Sales of these IKEA products have skyrocketed

It is learned that IKEA recently shared a list of some of its most popular products in 2021. In the past year, consumers have been more pursuing comfort and practicality in their home furnishing purchases.

The most popular products include:

Ergonomic pillows – sales increased 16% (duvets and bed frames also saw sales growth)

Candles – Canadians bought more than 4 million candles last year (a 123% increase from the previous year)

Runnen Patio Tiles – Sales increased 135% (2 million patio tiles installed in Canada)

Applaro outdoor tables (sales doubled from last year)

Plants (Banyan trees) -- (up more than 233% from last year)

Artificial plants, such as hanging eucalyptus (sales increased 6 times compared to last year) and ferns (sales increased 173% compared to last year)

Amid global supply chain disruptions across all industries, IKEA Canada said it is working hard to ensure its most popular products are on shelves.

Interior design and decoration professional Tracy Laqua said there is a great demand for items that keep the home environment tidy. Products related to storage and organization are becoming more and more popular. In addition, the demand for home decoration items has also increased.
