Strengthening cooperation! Amazon AWS becomes Best Buy's strategic cloud provider!

It is learned that according to foreign media reports, Best Buy recently announced a partnership with Amazon AWS to further apply cloud technology to its retail business.

It is reported that through this cooperation, Amazon AWS will serve as Best Buy's preferred supplier of cloud infrastructure services and an important support partner for Best Buy to cultivate cloud engineering talents.

According to reports, Best Buy intends to use Amazon AWS's computing, storage, database and security services to create new experiences for its customers, including virtual interactions with experts and live demonstrations of physical products. In addition, Best Buy will also use AWS's cloud capabilities to promote its digital transformation, including 24-hour chatbots and technical expertise for Totaltech members.

It is reported that through the strategic cooperation with AWS, Best Buy will also accelerate its cloud migration and implementation of cloud-first strategy. In the first phase, Best Buy will migrate its internal data center to AWS. In the second phase, Best Buy will expand its use of AWS functions and AWS Marketplace.

To Best Buy's delight, the partnership will also give its technicians access to Amazon AWS training and certified comprehensive cloud training courses and resources to support Best Buy's vision of hiring 1,000 new employees for its technology team.

Amazon Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Werner Vogels said that Amazon AWS will accelerate the innovation of Best Buy's cloud services.
