It is learned that April is coming, and foreign consumers will also usher in Easter, one of the most important festivals of the year. As a country with a high proportion of Catholic and Christian citizens, Mexico attaches great importance to Easter, and many consumers regard this festival as a relaxing holiday. The latest research shows that in Mexico, many consumers plan to travel during Easter, and the demand for travel-related products has also seen an increase in searches before the holiday. This year, Easter in Mexico will last from April 2 to 9, with home and travel being the areas of concentrated consumption. According to official data from the Mexican Online Sales Association (AMVO), the most popular products in the Mexican e-commerce market this Easter include plant decorations, cosmetics, sunscreen, bikinis, towels and thermoses. AMVO predicts that online sales during the Easter period are expected to increase by 65% to 11.497 billion pesos. When it comes to payment methods for Easter online shopping, the study found that credit cards topped the list, accounting for 31% of total purchases, followed by personalized payments at 25%, bank transfers at 15%, and finally wallets (or digital wallets) and debit cards.
