Amazon sellers who have been ruthlessly beaten by my brother-in-law's FBA shipping restrictions for some time finally received good news this morning. US site lifts shipping restrictions Today, my friends’ circle was flooded with news that Amazon FBA has lifted shipping restrictions. Sellers were overjoyed and flocked to Amazon's backend to create shipments. This seller created 1,000 shipments without any problems: There are no restrictions on new product links, which are what sellers care about the most: Maybe because too many people were creating shipments, the seller said that the backend was a bit stuck: (The above screenshots are all from the Zhiwubuyan community) Some sellers also said that some products are still in a restricted delivery status and cannot be created. In this case, new products may be released gradually, so please be patient and wait. Some sellers also suggested that it may be a previously created shipment, so please delete it and try again. In addition, the shipping restrictions to Europe have not been lifted yet, but according to this trend, it is estimated that Europe will be lifted soon. After the shipping restrictions were lifted, sellers frantically restocked their stocks. Some sellers restocked tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of items at a time. However, Chenzi still wants to remind sellers that in view of the current sharp increase in logistics costs, sellers still need to consider their own costs and promotion plans when restocking and replenish stocks reasonably. Breaking news! The United States released a report on the testing of Chinese masks The issues surrounding the export of masks are unfolding every day like a suspense blockbuster, with a new plot every day that catches people off guard. A few days ago, an Amazon seller was closed by Amazon for selling masks. The controversy over the seller’s protest at Amazon’s headquarters in Shenzhen has not yet subsided, and the mask drama has taken another turn. The United States has begun to take action against Chinese mask exporters! This time, the two most important departments in the United States that are in charge of the import of epidemic prevention materials are the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This time, the United States did not just take ordinary action, but launched a combination of punches! It is understood that late at night on May 7th, Beijing time, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suddenly released a test report on Chinese masks through its official website. As of press time, 105 brands/models of Chinese-made masks were tested and announced. Screenshot of CDC official website The advisory states that for each model listed, 10 respirators were submitted for evaluation. The samples were tested using a modified version of NIOSH Standard Test Procedure (STP) TEB-APR-STP-0059, which evaluates only the efficiency of the particulate filter. The results of these tests are for the sample tested and may or may not be representative of a larger batch or more similar respirators. The results of any filter penetration test can only be used to check the filtration efficiency of the product and cannot conclude that it is equivalent to a NIOSH-approved N95 product. The notice lists a large number of company names, product types, implementation standards, test results, etc., and there are some problematic products. The samples listed in this announcement are not all from different companies, but are from multiple enterprises and multiple batches of samples. There are also some sample test results from unknown enterprises, and there are some problematic products! As soon as this list came out, the FDA’s beating came. As mentioned before, the United States is using a combination of punches this time! The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said on the 7th local time that it would revoke the licenses of about 60 Chinese manufacturers to sell N95 masks in the United States on the grounds that the masks produced by these manufacturers could not provide adequate protection against the new coronavirus. The FDA said that testing found that some masks did not meet the minimum 95% particle filtration efficiency standard. Now, only 14 Chinese companies are allowed to import masks into the United States. In other words, 82.5% of Chinese companies have suddenly lost their whitelist qualifications without any warning. The FDA also said it is also stepping up inspections of masks imported from China and will conduct random testing of those masks. The list of the remaining 14 Chinese mask manufacturers authorized by the FDA to import (updated on May 7) is as follows: https://www.fda.gov/media/136663/download. Amazon releases statement
Regarding the export of masks, judging from these measures taken by the United States, restrictions on masks will only become more and more stringent. Chenzi has also mentioned many times in previous articles that unqualified sellers should not get involved in the mask business.
Regarding the sellers’ protest at Amazon’s headquarters in Shenzhen, Amazon Global Selling also issued a statement today, which reads as follows:
It mainly expresses four points:
Amazon will only increase its review of violations and products, and will show no mercy once a violation is discovered. For the funds withheld from a blocked account, there is a chance to get some of the funds back through an appeal. If a seller is accidentally injured, he or she can prepare materials to file a complaint. Non-compliant epidemic prevention products will be severely cracked down. I believe that after reading this statement, sellers have already made it clear whether they can still sell masks on Amazon. If you are selling masks on Amazon now, unless you are a fully qualified medical device factory, or a brand with the R mark for medical devices, and do not have a fully qualified medical device factory supply chain and cannot meet Amazon’s requirements, your business of selling epidemic prevention materials will basically be blocked. The US FBA has lifted the shipping restrictions, so sellers should focus on the areas they are good at, avoid speculation, and sell products well. Source: Seller Growth Academy |
