As soon as Black Friday and Cyber Monday came to an end, the Christmas season was approaching for sellers. However, what came faster than the explosion of orders was always various "accidents" inside and outside the platform.
It is learned that during the Christmas peak season, sellers encountered continuous logistics problems such as delayed warehousing and suspended receipt. Recently, the backend was once again in trouble, with a large number of sellers' stores automatically creating listings......
“If you often shop on Amazon, you will inevitably be burdened by your peers copying your products.” There is no need to build your own listings. You only need to fill in the price, SKU, etc. to quickly obtain traffic at low cost.
For the sellers who are being followed, these products are like sticky candy that sticks to the listing and eats away at the traffic, which is extremely painful. Recently, Amazon’s backend suddenly “went crazy”, and some sellers were even suspected of “following sales” because of this.
It is learned that recently a seller reported on the forum that a completely identical listing suddenly appeared in the store, and the SKU was Amazon.Found, and there were only two in stock. "Today I found a follow-up sale at the front desk, and when I clicked on it, I found that it was me."
Coincidentally, many sellers have said that similar situations have occurred:
"I also encountered this problem. Amazon.found only 1-2 stocks, and I ended up copying the seller." "Our company also has multiple Amazon.Found. We can see the follow-up information on the front and back ends. We checked and found that the product was not labeled correctly." "I specifically searched for these AISINs and found that they were my own links. The original links were still there but it prompted me whether the products were in stock." "I saw the email in the middle of the night last night and thought that my competitor was doing something across sites. I went to the office overnight and found out that it was indeed Amazon that was doing it."
Some sellers said that the "clone" links posted on the front desk only had a few stocks and no ranking, which greatly affected the conversion of the advertisement. Not only that, there were also cases of tampering with pictures without the seller's permission, and the extra inventory also virtually increased the seller's delivery costs.
Since the automatically created link is exactly the same as the original listing, the shopping carts of many sellers’ original listings were snatched away and their rankings were also affected.
A seller consulted customer service about this, and the PSS reply was: After verification, the system automatically created the SKU because the seller had previously lost inventory and now found it. Or the previous order was returned , but the seller did not return it, and Amazon compensated. After the compensation, the buyer returned the inventory or found inventory in the same condition for the seller to re-evaluate, and automatically created a new SKU in the background.

In other words, the extra links are Amazon’s inventory compensation to the seller, but the compensation is not applied to the original links, but the products are the same.
If the seller is concerned about inventory problems, they can create a removal order for the inventory to remove the inspection. After the inventory of this link is sold out, they can also choose to delete the link automatically created by the system.
However, in addition to the above reasons, some sellers also said that this situation may occur if the goods are not labeled correctly or the wrong products are sent.
According to the notification received by the seller, if the seller's products are not labeled correctly, the products will be received as unlabeled inventory of the same ASIN, and the unlabeled inventory of the same ASIN will appear in the seller's Amazon inventory with no sales information under SKU Amazon.found.BXXXX.

Additionally, if the product that the seller ships is different from what Amazon expects to receive, and that product has a different ASIN, the received product will be assigned a SKU of Amazon.Found.BXXXX.
With the arrival of the Christmas season, in addition to the various disturbances within the platform, logistics is also the biggest obstacle for sellers to report. It is understood that due to the surge in the number of packages, Amazon warehouses have been under high load recently.
Last week, there was news that due to high demand and limited reservations, some warehouses are currently unable to receive goods from December 15 to December 31. In addition, Amazon warehouses such as GEU3, GEU5, QXY1, JOT1, and MIT2 are currently experiencing serious warehouse overflows.
To make matters worse, a fire broke out in an Amazon return warehouse recently. According to reports, the warehouse is located in South Elmont, USA. Santa Anita Avenue, due to the rapid spread of the fire, almost all the goods stored in the warehouse were burned. For the sellers whose goods were stored there, there is no doubt that they will suffer huge losses.
Since the beginning of this year, from the Red Sea crisis that has driven a surge in shipping costs, to Amazon's warehouses being overwhelmed for more than half a year, coupled with the rising costs of warehousing and distribution fees, warehousing configuration fees, and other costs, there have been continuous incidents of freight forwarding running away, illegal operations, and other scandals. Logistics has always been the most difficult problem for many sellers in 2024.
Under this circumstance, many e-commerce platforms have made logistics construction a strategic priority. For example, Temu continues to cooperate with third-party logistics service providers. Cooperate with local logistics companies to build a warehousing and logistics network in multiple countries and markets in Europe and the United States, and reach overseas warehouse sellers with local fulfillment capabilities through a semi-trusteeship model.
For Amazon, logistics has always been its moat to consolidate its position as the dominant e-commerce company. However, in 2024, the continuous problems of warehouse explosion, warehousing delays, and shelf efficiency delays have been criticized by merchants. However, Amazon is still ambitious about its logistics business. Facing the coming 2025, Amazon today made a major announcement at the Global Cross-Border Selling Summit that Amazon's supply chain intelligent hosting service is officially open to Chinese sellers.
It is reported that this is an end-to-end cross-border supply chain management service. Amazon data shows that after using AWD automatic replenishment, sellers can reduce their inventory in Amazon's operation center by 15-20%, and out-of-stock situations are reduced by 15%.
In addition to focusing on first-mile logistics, Amazon also stated that it will continue to work on the construction of the last mile. According to official data, in the first half of 2024 alone, more than 5 billion items on Amazon were delivered on the same day or the next day worldwide, an increase of more than 30% over the same period last year.
Sellers naturally have mixed reactions to these changes.
Some sellers believe that the logistics hosting service launched by Amazon can help simplify logistics management and optimize inventory layout to a certain extent, allowing them to focus more on product development and brand building, thereby improving customer satisfaction and saving logistics and distribution costs.
Moreover, Amazon’s move also seems to be a move to compete with freight forwarders for business. Especially in the current environment where freight forwarders frequently go bankrupt, Amazon’s entry will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the cross-border logistics market.
However, some sellers believe that Amazon's FBA logistics service has been criticized throughout the year. A series of problems such as high costs and slow delivery time have not been effectively solved, which has affected the peak season sales of many sellers. Now that Amazon has launched a variety of logistics services, the final effect remains unknown.
